As a Church family, we want to be on the mission of making disciples who make disciples. In this pursuit, we’ve determined that a disciple loves God’s word. One of the ways the Psalmist expresses this love for God’s word is by saying, “I have hidden your word in my heart…” (Psalm 119:11).
As a way to “hide God’s word in our hearts," we invite you to join in a Bible memory challenge with us. We will memorize one Bible passage each month. We encourage families, Sunday school classes, small groups, and individuals to take up the memory challenge! You can find the passage for each month below.
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!
1 Chronicles 16:34
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
